The best and the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to! The food is deliciously fantastic. The menu is small, but there is a high focus on quality. I asked for modification and they were very nice about it. I really enjoyed the noodle soup I had there which I will include the pictures. Thank you Cafe Xu Hue for providing such good quality food!

I enjoy my lunch at this place as it is well known by my Vietnamese’s friends who live around burnaby area. Tasty soup. I like the drink very much because it is not just water. I am not sure what it is but I believe must be some kind of good tea. Also they served me in a perfect temperature. You would never burned your tough at this restaurant. Very impressive.

Maybe my memory is inaccurate, but I remember they used to have a greater variety of ingredients in the noodle soup. However, this doesn't change the fact that they still serve the best Bun Bo Hue in town. The taste is just so good.

This place is a hidden gem! It has a small specialized menu. We loved both the Bun Bo hue and the Banh Canh Cu here. The Bun Bo hue is a little spicy to me but the flavor is very good. The noodles from the banh canh cu had a very good chewy texture and the broth is very good with hints of fried onion or maybe shallots and shrimp taste to it. They have limited seating and it was a full house within an hour from their opening time.

Love this place. Love how small the menu is. Don’t need to think. Order the same stuff every time. Flavours are great! Staff are all so friendly. Everything comes out piping hot!! Especially the crab noodle bowl. Only down side is the price. 20 per bowl. That’s a bit pricey. I guess it’s worth as we keep going back. We really enjoy the food here. Keep up the good work!

I've never felt like eating up a 3 color drink as fast as I did here because it was just perfect and the brilliant lady working here understood and answered me even quicker than I could think when I asked about the type of milk it contains.. hope to visit for other food again

Hands down for one of the best Asian soul food on Vancouver, you know the restaurant is.solidnwhen there's only 8 items on the food menu and full house on a sat afternoon raining day. Seems like a family run business, The restaurant is a bit beat up, but relatively clean. The food was fantastic, the broth was clean and well seasoned. Not much MSG added (big plus) all the food is relatively fresh, does not taste frozen or canned. The crab / shrimp noodle is at the wow level good too! The meat in the banhmi is really tender,. vegetable are refreshing! Will definitely come back again and again haha
